Weihenstephan

The Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan, founded in 1040, is the oldest existing brewery in the world. Originally, a monastery brewery of the Benedictine monks, then the Royal Bavarian State Brewery. Today, as a regulated enterprise of the Free State of Bavaria, Weihenstephan brews beers of the highest quality and successfully exports to over 40 countries worldwide, including the United States.

Raw Ingredients

Only the best ingredients find their way to Weihenstephan and are refined by the experienced hands of master brewers into something extraordinary. Here we should mention that the Beer Purity Law of 1516 remains as the foundation for all Weihenstephan’s actions. Hops, barley, water and yeast and nothing more goes into our bottles or barrels. We make sure of that through quality control.
