Chef Gunter About Us

Chef Gunter came to Knoxville in the nineties after an extensive career in restaurants all over the country. He trained with European chefs in the 1950’s before moving to America where he would be Chef at The Berghoff (a highly famed German restaurant) in Chicago. Restaurant Linderhof was his final project, and before his final passing it was arranged for the restaurant to carry forward his legacy of superior quality and experience in all that European cooking has to offer. A legendary Chef beyond like Knoxville, Tennessee had ever seen, Gunter will always be remembered through these walls and in our hearts.
